Prints
Influenced by Piranesi, Dürer and Rembrandt, Audette devoted much of her early career to intaglio etching and engraving. With an award for emerging artists from the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation, Audette purchased a large Charles Brand etching press. From then on, she etched zinc plates and created her own proof prints and small editions in her home studio. For larger editions, she turned to contract printers in New York. Audette was also accomplished in lithography, mezzotint and monoprint techniques.
